I’m a PLM specialist with over 20 years of experience helping manufacturers get more from their Product Lifecycle Management investments. My work spans automotive OEM programmes, Formula 1 platform transformations, aerospace rollouts, and precision manufacturing — across the UK, Europe, and North America. My focus has always been the same: the gap between what PLM promises and what most implementations actually deliver.
Built from the inside out
My career spans the full PLM delivery lifecycle — software development, CAD-PLM integrations, platform migrations, change management, and technical and solution architecture on some of the most demanding transformation programmes in manufacturing.
Before founding ABMTech, I spent nine years at Processia (now Atos), leading technical and solution architecture across PLM programmes for global clients in automotive, F1, aerospace, and manufacturing sectors.
Industry Domains
Automotive OEM is my primary domain — including digital thread, EBOM/MBOM transformation, variant and complexity management, and change management across full vehicle programmes.
In Formula 1, I have led multiple legacy-to-modern PLM and CAD transformation projects across several teams — serving as technical and solution architect for platform upgrades from legacy environments to current enterprise PLM and CAD stacks. These are among the most time-critical, precision-demanding PLM environments in manufacturing.
Beyond automotive and F1, I have delivered PLM platform rollouts in aerospace and implemented PLM solutions for precision manufacturers in electronics and bus/transport sectors.
Platforms & Expertise
I work across the three major PLM platforms, with particular depth in Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE — covering ENOVIA, DELMIA, and CATIA — alongside Siemens Teamcenter and PTC Windchill delivery experience.
Core areas of expertise: EBOM/MBOM architecture, variant and complexity management, ASPICE traceability, digital thread, change management, and CAD-PLM integration patterns.
About ABMTech Consulting
ABMTech Consulting Limited was founded in August 2022, with active client engagements running from November 2022. The business was built from day one to go beyond contracting — combining practitioner delivery with channel partnerships and purpose-built tooling.
I am currently building a suite of AI-augmented PLM tools that encode the delivery knowledge most PLM implementations leave implicit. These are being developed to production quality — purpose-built for the data structures and process patterns found in automotive and complex manufacturing programmes — and will be available through ABMTech’s channel partner network.
